Family Programme

Family Therapy Days

While a person is in treatment, their family members attend each Wednesday for Family Day (essential) during the course of the 28 days. The goal is to assist the
individual to see the true consequences on his/her life and where change is necessary.

For the family members, lectures give them insight to the nature of addiction and treatment.

8 week Concerned  Persons Group

When the client leaves treatment, their families are encouraged to attend a Support Group in Aiseiri-
consisting of a 2-hour weekly group for 8 weeks led by a counsellor. During these sessions family are
encouraged to look at their own lives and how they have changed and responded to addiction in their family. Many people find this a new beginning for themselves.

Aiseiri Residential Family Programme

This 5 day programme acknowledges the need for all members of the family to recover following addiction in the family. Every person who is close to an addicted person is effected in a unique way. It is important that individuals are given the opportunity to explore these effects and to find a pathway to happiness. These goals are achieved in a therapeutic environment through: - lectures, videos, and interaction with peers leading to identification and support and introduction to Al-Anon. to  strengthen their sense of life's purpose and direction.
